Marcella Hazan, Victor Hazan

Marcella Hazan, widely credited with popularizing Italian cuisine in America, married Victor Hazan in 1955 — an Italian-born, New York-raised wine writer who became her longtime collaborator. Together they co-authored Ingredienti, her final book, for which Victor translated and transcribed her vignettes on shopping for and preparing essential Italian ingredients.
