T. Colin Campbell

T. Colin Campbell (born 1934) studied pre-veterinary medicine at Pennsylvania State University (B.S., 1956) before attending the University of Georgia's veterinary school. He coined the term "plant-based diet" in 1980 to present his research at the National Institutes of Health and has authored over 300 research papers and four books, including The China Study, co-written with his son Thomas M. Campbell II.
