Nehls argues that the 1949 US lithium toxicity incidents were deliberate human experiments rather than accidental overdoses, pointing out that patients were given unmeasured table salt substitutes containing gram amounts of lithium chloride. He maintains that three separate clinic teams acting simultaneously despite known toxicity literature from 1913 points to coordination.
Nehls advises against colloidal lithium products, clarifying in his book that lithium acts biochemically only in its ionic form. Because colloidal atom clusters differ fundamentally from free ions, he remains unconvinced of their efficacy until clinical studies demonstrate otherwise.
Nehls explains that he has halted in-person speaking engagements because travel and preparation consume too much time and he dislikes repeating presentations. Instead, he records presentations for free online viewing to reach a worldwide audience alongside international translations of his work.
