- Title: No One Knows Who Dies at the End, the fourth Death-Cast book (Publishers Weekly).
- Year: 2026, from the January 2025 announcement. No month or day.
- Publisher: not yet named for this book. Every Death-Cast book so far has come from HarperCollins in the US; the third was published by its Quill Tree Books imprint (Publishers Weekly).
- Cover, plot, preorders: none yet.
Where the date will come from
Silvera announced the third book himself, on his Instagram, on 15 January 2025 (Publishers Weekly), so that's the likeliest place for the date and cover. We also watch his website, and we'll update this page when anything is confirmed.

A word of warning: the book isn't out, so any site offering a free PDF or EPUB of it is a scam or piracy.
The book before it
The Survivor Wants to Die at the End came out on 6 May 2025. It follows Paz, who is tired of waiting for Death-Cast's call, and Alano, heir to the Death-Cast company.
Silvera has said it is about living with suicidal thoughts, and that neither boy dies: "it is about battling mental illness, but it is not about dying. It is about wanting to die" (Publishers Weekly).
The Netflix series
Netflix picked up a They Both Die at the End series in January 2023. Bridgerton creator Chris Van Dusen is writing the pilot, Bad Bunny and Drew Comins are among the executive producers, and eOne is the studio (TheWrap).
HBO had developed it as a half-hour series in 2019. We've found no casting or filming news since 2023.
