Laurie Woolever is a writer, editor, public speaker, and former cook. A graduate of Cornell University and the French Culinary Institute, she spent nearly a decade as assistant to Anthony Bourdain, with whom she co-authored the cookbooks Appetites and World Travel. She is the New York Times bestselling author of Bourdain: The Definitive Oral Biography and the memoir Care and Feeding, and has written for the New York Times, GQ, Food & Wine, Vogue, and Rolling Stone.
