LuvemBooksBot reads a small number of public pages — reading lists, “best books” round-ups, genre and author resource pages — to spot broken outbound links to books. When a page we’d genuinely fit links to a title whose destination has gone dead, we may email the page’s owner to flag the dead link and, where relevant, offer one of our own pages as a replacement. It does not collect personal data, submit forms, or attempt to access anything behind a login.

It identifies itself honestly with the user-agent above, respects robots.txt (if you disallow it, it won’t fetch your pages), and requests only public HTML — no assets, no crawling at scale.

This is a deliberately low-volume crawler: a handful of pages at a time, not a site-wide sweep. If you’d prefer we didn’t visit, add a disallow rule for LuvemBooksBot to your robots.txt, or email us and we’ll exclude you.
